Burger King is getting in on the lucrative fast-food hybrid trend [1] with the release of Mac n' Cheetos — deep-fried mac and cheese sticks breaded in that inimitable Cheetos dust. The invariably addictive snack appears to have emerged from the chain's partnership with Frito-Lay, not unlike Taco Bell's Doritos taco shell. A five-stick order will cost you $3. The Mac n' Cheetos are already available at some Burger King locations and will continue to sell over the following eight weeks . . . unless supplies run out before then.
