The burger: Iron Chef Michael Symon handed out these mini sliders filled with fried salame, provolone cheese, pickled onion, and "shasha" sauce, a mayonnaise and banana pepper condiment he learned from his mother-in-law.
Why it worked: The People's Choice Award winner, and for very good reason. The fried salami added texture, and the shasha a zing that no other burger that night could replicate. The Nutella and hazelnut liqueur milkshake that came with it? The ideal accompaniment.
