Apr 4 2015 - 9:00am

You've heard of chocolate-covered strawberries [1] and chocolate-covered bacon [2], but have you had a bacon-stuffed chocolate bunny? This concoction is next-level amazing for any bacon-lover because it's the perfect combo of sweet and salty. And if you're looking for a way to incorporate bacon into your Easter dishes, we found another recipe below that uses it as the star ingredient. Keep reading to see how to take your bacon obsession to deliciously new heights.

Bacon-Filled Chocolate Bunny

It's exactly what it sounds like.

Here's what you'll need:

Step 1

To cut a hole for the stuffing, heat a knife by running the blade under hot water, and then gently cut the bottom of the bunny (set the piece aside).

Step 2

Insert bacon slices into the hollow bunny, breaking smaller pieces as needed to completely fill the hollow cavity.

Step 3

To reseal the bunny, heat the knife under hot water again and replace the bottom piece onto the bunny. Run the flat side of the knife back and forth over the seam, melting the chocolate and resealing the bottom.

Bacon Nest

Bacon enthusiasts, you'll love these pretty little bowls made entirely of your favorite meat. This fun recipe only takes a few minutes to make.

Here's what you'll need:

Step 1

Using the kitchen shears, cut each bacon strip lengthwise into three long, skinny strips. Line the microwave-safe bowl with paper towels.

Step 2

Place the bacon strips in the bowl to form a loose nest, making sure to build the sides of the nest with bacon strips. Wad up a paper towel and place it in the center of the nest, then tuck one more paper towel into the bowl. Microwave for four to five minutes, then let it cool before removing paper towels. Serve with your favorite Easter candy or hard-boiled egg!
