My whole chocolate-dipped obsession began when I made tic-tac-toe-like garnishes to go along with one batch of Guinness ice cream. (While I love them as a garnish, I don't recommend mixing bits of chocolate pretzel into the ice cream, as I tried once, since the pretzels tend to get soggy.) Chocolate-covered pretzels would be an awesome textural contrast for espresso martinis, too.
Use them as a garnish.
