Also - walnuts vs the traditional pine nuts in a pesto are great, especially in a extra-garlicky recipe.

Love these classics with a twist (especially the key lime popsicles) - I also am a big fan of the graham cracker tart crust in the Miette cookbook for a slightly different flavor/texture in a key lime pie crust (it's a bit sturdier - so I use it to make tartlets).
