Come Party With Me: Cookie Party — Drinks

Wondering what cocktail to serve at a cookie exchange party? How about a cookie cocktail? Made with crushed Oreos, vodka, and pineapple juice, this is a tasty drink that will please all of your guests. Prepare the Oreo cookie rim up to an hour before the event and store in the freezer until ready to serve.

As an alternative to the cocktail have a good dessert wine or champagne to pair with all of the cookies. Arrange clear pitchers of milk, water, coffee, and tea next to glasses and mugs so guests can help themselves to nonalcoholic beverages.

You could give this dessert to your kids and they will sleep well. This is not a drink.

My girlfriend and I are getting together for a halloween-themed dinner party with our men and we MUST try this drink out! Oreos are a staple in my home...unfortunately for my expanding toosh!

Cookie drinks, amazing!

I think the Oreo rim is quite fun, though I think the combination of alcohol/juice sounds like it just wouldn't work. If it were a Kahlua or Creme De Cacao sort of alcohol, it would work better with the Oreos, methinks.

I don't know about the Oreo... it might be too messy. I dont know about having little black things floating around in my drink :(

mmm pinkgirl - i love your idea about using nila wafers instead. that sounds really really good! another "cookie" drink could be a Dirty Girl Scout - they taste just like a thin mint girl scout cookie. YUM!

Love the Oreo rim, but I"m not sure if the combo sounds too good. Separately they're fabulous!

Hm. I dont know if Im sold on this. Particularly because I dont know how I feel about citrus (the OJ) being mixed with chocolate/food in a drink. Maybe if it was a heavier liqueur it might be a different story...
