Beat the heat this Summer with this fresh and easy DIY take on one of our favorite childhood frozen treats: Otter Pops! With fresh fruits and juices, this is a healthy alternative to sugar-laden popsicles, and with a ton of great flavor combinations, the possibilities really are endless when thinking up your kaleidoscope of rainbow-colored pops. This is perfect for an afternoon pool party, a sweet Summer bridal shower, or an after-school snack.

DIY Frozen Otter Pops

Ingredients

  1. For the Berry Best:
    2 cups frozen strawberries, thawed
    2 cups frozen raspberries, thawed
    1 cup water
    1 1/2 cups vanilla yogurt
  1. For Orange You Glad It's the Weekend?:
    12 oz. can Pineapple Mandarin Orange Palm Breeze [1]
    4 cups pineapple, diced
    1 cup mandarin oranges, sliced
  1. For the Green Goddess:
    1 pear, peeled and diced
    2 kiwis, peeled and diced
    4 cups coconut water
  1. Special equipment:
    Ice candy bags [2]
    Magic plastic bag sealer [3]

Directions

  1. For the Berry Best: In a blender or food processor, blend together strawberries, raspberries, and water until smooth. Carefully pour a little bit into an ice candy bag using a funnel and then alternate with a layer of yogurt. Repeat until the bag is full. Seal and freeze overnight.
  2. For Orange You Glad It's the Weekend?: In a blender, mix together Pineapple Mandarin Orange Palm Breeze with pineapple and orange slices. Blend until smooth. Carefully pour into ice candy bags using a funnel. Seal and freeze overnight.
  3. For the Green Goddess: In a blender or food processor, blend together pears, kiwi, and coconut water until smooth. Carefully pour the mixture into an ice candy bag using a funnel. Seal and freeze overnight.
