Honestly, Dairy Queen's New Molten Lava Cake Will Leave You Speechless

Like the Oreo Wonder Vault, Dairy Queen has created a new DQ Bakes! Institute "to further inspire, develop, and enhance future innovation coming from the DQ kitchen," the brand said in a press release. What that means for you is . . . new, delicious ways to get a sugar high! One of the first products coming out of the newly established institute is Molten Lava Cake à la Mode ($4). Just like the fancy dessert you find in sit-down restaurants, the Molten Lava Cake is a "decadent chocolate cake with melted chocolatey fudge bursting from its molten center." It comes served with DQ's vanilla soft serve and hot fudge.

If it's still too dang hot to think about anything other than frozen treats, DQ has also released a new limited-edition Chocolate Cake Blizzard ($3), which blends DQ's iconic vanilla soft serve with moist chocolate cake, fudge frosting, and choco chunks. And if you have nothing but pumpkin spice on your mind, Dairy Queen has also rereleased its Pumpkin Pie Blizzard, complete with a dollop of whipped cream and ground nutmeg on top.
