Do You Eat Breakfast?

Although FitSugar would not approve, some days I don't eat breakfast. How about you? Do you always start off your day with a meal?

I voted "Of Course!" but every now and then I will wake up and just not be hungry or still feel full from the night before. But I always have a glass of o.j. every morning. It's like my coffee, I have to have it!

I try and eat breakfast most mornings. I have difficulty eating when I am stressed though...

If I don't eat breakfast within a half hour of getting up I start to feel sick. The sick feeling is followed by grumpiness and all round moodiness. Things won't improve until I get some food in my tummy. The only time I don't have breakfast within in the half hour is if I'm going out for breakfast and even then I'll have a muesli bar or something similar to tide me over.

Yup, every day. I couldn't make it to lunch without at least a little something to start the day!

Every single day. On weekdays I either have Special K, Cheerios, or a Pop Tart (on my indulgence days hehe). On the weekends I try to either cook breakfast for my husband and I (usually eggs or pancakes) or we go grab something :]

I seldom eat breakfast. I just can't eat early in the morning I'm not hungry or awake enough. I eat an early lunch at about 11 and make that my main meal. I like breakfast on the weekends for lunch or for dinner anytime.

I would prefer to have a big breakfast with eggs and bacon and all that good stuff, but I usually only have time for a bowl of cereal.

i really try to, but what i've realized is that i simply cannot sit down to a big breakfast. i'll have coffee at maybe 8 am, and then at 9 have a hardboiled egg, and then have another egg, poached this time, with broccoli around 9 or 10. i spread it out so it keeps me fuller longer and so it doesn't feel like i'm forcing myself to eat, especially because i don't get very hungry in the morning.

I force myself most days to eat something before 11am.

God no. Breakfast is minging. Cereal is curious. Unless its bacon and scrambled eggs, which I will have once a month or so. But then I don't get up at stupid o'clock to go run. Lunch is at 12 for me and always salad or soup so in the evening I can cook up a little something.

I honestly don't know how people can not eat breakfast, or how time can pass by so that you end up skipping the meal. When I wake up in the morning, the first thing on my mind is food. Actually, when I go to bed at night, I often think about and look forward to my breakfast. Is this making me sound really greedy? I'd be cranky and hungry if I skipped breakfast. I do eat it at all sorts of random times, though, depending on whether I'm going for a jog in the morning, which I like to do before I eat or I'll talk myself out of it. Most days I have the same thing: 1 egg + 1 egg white, microwaved, and a bowl of porridge made with soy milk, ground flax, raisins, goji berries, blackcurrant flakes and sultanas. I just realised that I'm not really in a position to judge the breakfast skippers TOO much, though, since if I get up too late and jog too late and eat breakfast too late (i.e. like today), then I'm known to skip lunch. But lunch is the boring meal. :) I love breakfast foods and I love sitting down and relaxing with dinner, but lunch usually means cramming down some food and racing off to work or university. I hate rushed eating! /giant ramble about my eating habits.

I always eat breakfast. Not because it's the most important meal of the day, but because it's my favorite one.

I eat breakfast every day, usually an egg white and a slice of toast with peanut butter. On Sundays though, that's my big breakfast day! Eggs, bacon, home fries, toast! YUM! I make sure I always eat something and my kids always eat something.

Of course... especially when I have to wake up early. I like to eat light though...a bowl of cereal or a vegan protein bar. Although I love bagels, eggs and other rich items, I try to stay away from those..

I always eat breakfast! If I even eat a lighter breakfast, I'm much hungrier the rest of the's weird. Don't like typical greasy breakfast foods though -- cereal is about all I'll do... :-)

Yup, everyday. On weekdays I use breakfast to get a ton of fibre in by eating All Bran with berries and yogurt, then on the weekends my fiancee takes over and it's gallo pinto, plantanos fritos, huevos rancheros and homemade tortillas. YUM!!!!!

It depends on if I'm working mornings or nights. On the days I work nights, I don't usually eat "breakfast" until around noon or so. If I'm working in the mornings, I eat at around 8am, after I've been at work a couple of hours. My breakfast is always oatmeal and an apple; regardless of when I eat it.

Every day. By the time I hit the gym at 9:30 I've already had 2 meals. A protein shake immediately upon waking up and a breakfast before my workout. so funny because a year ago I hated breakfast and would rarely if ever eat it, and now I'm eating 2 breakfasts lol.

Every day, no matter when I wake up (even if it means that I'm eating breakfast at 11 and lunch at 3 in the afternoon). Even if I'm not hungry I make myself eat a banana or granola bar, otherwise I'll starve and be cranky a few hours after starting the day.
