Do You Get the Cooking Channel?

If you regularly tune into the Food Network, you'll be familiar with the Cooking Channel, the network's sister channel that was launched last May. Commercials for the newer channel air on the Food Network, and the shows seem interesting and exciting. However, many people I've talked to say the Cooking Channel isn't a part of their cable package. Unfortunately, I don't get it either. How about you?

I enjoy watching the Cooking Channel with my hubby and familia on our Home Theater HD MAX when we have the time. Interesting characters in the kitchen.  sweetkirstin

No...I don't have digital cable yet. As soon as we get it, I'll be able to get it.

I've watched a few episodes of 'Bitchin Kitchen' and it really is annoying, its all trying too hard, but I did see a few recipes that I might try. But I really love some of the old FN shows, Julia Child, Two Fat Ladies.

I don't think it's available in Canada... I wish it was though! I miss the Galloping Gourmet and overdubbed Japanese Iron Chef :(

Yup. My poor husband has to endure hours and hours of Food Network and Cooking Channel every weekend. Sidenote: That new show Bitchin' Kitchen annoys me.

No, I don't, and I am superbummed... Cablevision in NJ is just awful.

I recently got it when I switched to Wow! cable. It's awesome. I like the new shows fine, but I love the old shows even more. "Nigella Express", "Iron Chef (the original)", "Two Fat Ladies", "The French Chef" and "The Galloping Gourmet". It's almost like the VH1 Classic version of Food Network.

The Cookie Channel might be my favorite channel. I have Direct TV, but when I switch to cable I won't get it anymore. I will definitely miss it. Unique Eats is my favorite!
