Do You Purchase Seasonal Kitchen Linens?

Not only am I a sucker for seasonal candy, but I also can't say no to holiday kitchen linens. From heart-printed dish towels to Halloween aprons to Christmas tablecloths, I love seasonal kitchen linens. How about you?

xxstardust: Sounds like I'm like your mom. And as for the apron, it was a gift! FabSugar's mommie made it for me!

My mom has them for EVERY holiday. Easter, Valentine's, 4th of July/Memorial Day (those get double duty!), St. Patrick's, Halloween, Christmas .. and then just generic 'seasonal' stuff with snowflakes and fall leaves and beachy stuff. And she has knick knacks, tchotzes, and some sort of front-door wreath or decoration for every single one too! It's not like, cluttering the kitchen - it's all tasteful, I swear, lol! - and it's really cute. I loved getting out holiday stuff when I was a little kid ... even now in college I love decorating the house! We're definitely holiday people ... the Christmas lights? OY, the drama and production to get the house decorated!! Now that I'm edging real close to having my own kitchen (my boyfriend and I are hoping to be able to move into an apartment next year), my mom has started this cute little habit of making me boxes for each holiday, and as each holiday passes she gets me a few things for my house to put in the box. It's easier to pick them up on 60% clearance the week after Halloween now then wait til next year when I have a home of my own to decorate!!

Only for Christmas. It's my favorite holiday and I normally go a bit crazy. I can't wait to go to Ikea to get some Christmasy things. They just added the Christmas merchandise to their website last week I think.

Oh and to answer the question, I used to get Holiday themed kitchen textiles but I haven't in many years. And all the ones I used to have I no longer have. Well except for the placemats that my Mom made and we used when I was growing up. But now towels or aprons (yet).

The apron is adorable! We don't celebrate Halloween in my country, and I only have things for Christmas and Easter.

I don't break out different towels and such for every holiday, just a few; spring, Halloween and Hanukkah.
