A couple were enjoying a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board in the park when they became transfixed by the possibility of combining the two picnic essentials. From that day in the park, Drunk Jelly [2] was created. Described as fancy wine jelly, the nonalcoholic spread is inspired by different types of Rosé, white, and red wine.
Drunk Jelly currently offers seven flavors [3]: Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Moscato, and Rosé. Each spread is available in a four-ounce or six-ounce mason jar, priced at $6 and $8 respectively. In addition to having its own website, Drunk Jelly is also available on Etsy [4].
Unfortunately, the jelly does not include any actual alcohol — I know, I know. Much like Sugarfina's Rosé Gummy Bears [6], the jelly more so embodies the essence of its corresponding wine. If you plan on using the stuff with your breakfast toast, however, that might be a good thing.
