Frozen Caipirinha
Inspired by The Bazaar by José Andrés at the SLS Hotel [1]
Ingredients
- 5 ounces lime juice, freshly squeezed
10 teaspoons superfine sugar
20 ounces cachaça
Zest of 2 limes
Directions
- Pour lime juice into ice cube trays, and freeze overnight.
- Into a blender, add frozen ice cubes, sugar, and cachaça. Blend until slushy.
- Pour into glasses, garnish with a little bit of lime zest, and serve with a spoon.
