Halloween Dinner Party Menu Inspiration

No Tricks, This Halloween Dinner Is a Foodie Treat!

The ideal Halloween menu should seem a little spooky but still taste great — more treats than tricks, so to speak. Whether your dinner party is grown-ups only, or there are teens at the table, this lineup of dishes may look and sound scary, without sacrificing an ounce of flavor. From savory appetizers to a sinfully delicious dessert, this creepy menu is missing just one thing: a cook to whip it up!

Mushroom, Brie, and Thyme Melts

There's something a little bit sinister about mushrooms, and paired with sinfully rich and gooey Brie cheese, these triple mushroom, Brie, and thyme melts are an evil treat for your dinner guests.

Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

Not every item on a Halloween menu needs to be obviously spooky. These balsamic brussels sprouts are coated with an ooey-gooey balsamic drizzle that looks dark and dangerously delicious.

Mummy Hot Dogs

While it may not seem like the most adult item, mummy hot dogs add a fun, kitschy touch and are sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Blood-Orange Miso Scallops

What's a spooky dinner without a little bit of blood? These blood-orange miso scallops fit the theme while avoiding the ick factor.

Poison Apples

Take the evening to the sinister side with these poison toffee apples that are worthy of the darkest Disney villain.

Love the shrimp cocktail brain and the oozing brie! Awesome. Last year, along with tons of other apps, I made "bat wings" (hot wings with black food coloring in the sauce). I only got one before the rest of the drunken fools ate them all!

The shrimp cocktail in the picture totally reminds me of the Indiana Jones dinner in Temple of Doom!

What about some hors d’oeuvres? I'm having a Halloween cocktail party and every Halloween recipe I find is for sweet things.... I need some novel dips, nibbles and weird antipasti to serve....
