22 Cozy Slow-Cooker Casseroles That Make Life Easy

Happy Hour: Negroni

It's cocktail week here in San Francisco and a whole bunch of the city by the bay's best bartenders are participating in celebrating the dynamic beverage community. This is the first year this event has been hosted and many popular bars, lounges, and restaurants are contributing by featuring two limited edition specialty cocktails: one classic recipe and one innovative concoction. As I browsed through the list of cocktails, I noticed two places were offering a negroni as their classic cocktail. Invented in Florence, Italy in the 1900s, a negroni is often consumed as an aperitif to stimulate the appetite. For the recipe (if you are an aspiring mixologist you better learn how to make this!)

Negroni
From Cocktail Times

1 oz Gin
1 oz Campari
1oz Sweet Vermouth
Garnish: Lemon Twist

Shake all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with Lemon Twist.

Makes 1 cocktail.

Oh it's Cocoktail week here in SF! Is that why everyone riding my bus has been highly intoxicated? Especially the Bay to Breakers crowd. I am surprised they didn't run Breakers to Bay, they were so bomb. This cocktail sounds yummy. have to remember for my best friend's continental birthday.

don't need a drink to stimulate my appetite. If someone could create a drink that an alcoholic drink that supresses the appetite...they would be rich$$
