Homemade Pizookie Recipe

Make the Easiest Cookie Cake in Baking History

Birthdays, anniversaries, graduations — heck, pretty much any night of the week calls for a BJ's Pizookie. Never had one? Well, it's essentially a deep-dish cookie cake served hot out of the oven and topped with ice cream. But here's where things start to get fun. Rather than choose one flavor, we'll show you how to bake a cookie cake with three different cookie doughs: chocolate chip, peanut butter, and white chocolate macadamia nut.

Notes

The doughs can be homemade or store-bought. If you decide to make homemade doughs, freeze any leftovers in a freezer-safe bag for 6 to 9 months.

Triple-Flavored Cookie Cake

Ingredients

  1. Nonstick cooking spray
1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough
1 cup peanut butter cookie dough
1 cup white chocolate macadamia nut cookie dough
Pint of ice cream of your choice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF, and spray a round cookie pan or cake pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Press each cookie dough into a third of the pan. Make sure the doughs are touching, they're spread evenly across, and there is a 1-inch space from the top.
  3. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the edges are browned and the middle is still gooey.
  4. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving with ice cream.
