It depends on the type and my mood. Although I will say that I always like my turkey thin, never to thick for me please.

I rarely eat deli meats, but when I do I like them thin. Except for salami, which I prefer thick.

I always ask for my lunch meat and cheese to be paper thin and more often than not they don't do it. It drives me crazy because my kids don't like it when it's thicker and I end up trashing it. I also don't care if the cheese stick, I like the taste better when it's thin, there's a difference somehow.

Thin, the deli people always hate when i ask for my cheese sliced thin. It's gonna stick they always say! I'm the one eating it and paying $5.99/lb just cut it how i ask!

Meat-shaved, cheese-thin. I drive them crazy, for some reason most clerks hate the extra work.

Totally depends. If it's parma ham, then it's paper thin. Ditto for mortadella. But salami, I prefer thick!

I like the regular meats (turkey, ham, roast beef, etc) sliced thin and the cured meats thick. Oh, except prosciutto...that should be thin.

If it's for sandwiches then i usually want it thin. If its for an appitizer or for snacks then I like it thick.
