Inside-Out Burgers

Ingredients

  1. For the sauce
    1 cup Greek yogurt
    1/2 cup barbecue sauce
    1 teaspoon chopped chives
  1. For the burgers
    1 pound ground beef
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Mix together the yogurt and barbecue sauce along with the chopped chives and set aside.
  2. Divide the ground beef into four and then form into balls. Create an indentation in the ball, making a nest for the shredded cheddar. Fill each with one fourth of the cheese.
  3. Grill the burgers over hot coals or a medium-high grill, three to five minutes per side or until the cheese starts oozing out from the burger.
  4. Top with the creamy barbecue sauce and your other favorite additions, like grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, or even spinach.
