Back of Killer App: Grape Goat Cheese Crostini I have a weakness for crostini. I simply can't get enough of the thin, crisp toasts with savory toppings. Since I jump at the chance to try a new variation, I recently made this easy, vegetarian crostini recipe. The ingredients are ordinary — baguette, grapes, and goat cheese — but the results are divinely delicious. The superb balance between the crunchy bread, juicy grapes, and creamy goat cheese is rich and luxurious. This dish proves that simple food can be incredibly satisfying — especially if served with a glass of bubbly on the side! To learn how to make this killer appetizer, . I love anything with cheese on it! hippiecowgirl 8 years These look yummy and pretty. I'd probably pick the grapes off and eat them separately. I'm weird in that I don't really like fruit mixed with other food. Alayni 8 years yum! I have guests coming over in an hour. I'm going to try this on cracked pepper water crackers. I avoid anything with saturated fat. ilanac13 8 years oooh i love this! i've never thought to pair goat cheese with grapes and that's a nice combination i think - you get the sweetness from the grape which balances out the flavor of the goat cheese. i've always paired it with granny smith apples but this is a nice alternative! angriv 8 years even a green apple... a tart one like granny smith would be delish! i love a little sliced fresh fruit on my cheese plates! this looks like a perfect way to combine what i put separate. SarahPW 8 years i bet pear slices (instead of grapes) would be really good on these too! Yum!
