- 24 ounces pilsner
1 all-beef hot dog
2 tablespoons sauerkraut
6 ounces stout
1 hot dog bun
- Add the pilsner to a pot and bring to a simmer.
- Spiral cut the hot dog by running a knife around it before cooking. Simmer in the lager for 2-4 minutes, or until the hot dog floats and the cuts pucker open.
- Meanwhile, warm the sauerkraut and the stout in a skillet set over medium heat.
- Serve warm in a hot dog bun topped with a heaping scoop of sauerkraut.
