The chickens had beautiful fluffy feathers. From the outside, the barn doesn't look like much of a party. But inside, it was perfectly decorated. The welcome sign that greeted guests. A row of drink dispensers filled with water. The wine stand was labeled Jam. The band was playing at the end of the barn. Wilson was on hand pouring Zinfandel. Now on to the star of the show: the cheese! The Cowgirls were there sharing their seasonal St Pat. Humboldt Fog is always a crowd-pleasing goat cheese. This chèvre was wonderfully smooth. I took a bite of this brie and thought, "wow, so creamy." Then I looked at the name and realized it was a triple cream brie. These olive grissini were flavorful and addictive. I love this cheese knife and snapped a picture of it to remind myself I want to purchase one. Cheddar and jalapeño gouda. The cheese display! Hay stacks added to the atmosphere. The rolling hills of the countryside. The place finally got crowded. A small window in the barn looked out on the parking lot and fields. The St Pat was amazing. Humboldt Fog crumbles. The barn house next to the barn. The twinkling lights created a romantic mood. A plate full of cheese and crackers.
