McDonald's Unveils the Frork: A "Uselessly Useful" New French Fry Utensil

May 1 2017 - 8:43am

Don't you just hate it when you're taking a big bite of your juicy McDonald's sandwich only to have the ingredients fall out on your plate? We know, it's the worst. But these incredibly infuriating first-world problems will soon be a thing of the past thanks to McDonald's new utensil — the Frork. McDonald's introduced the new french fry fork in a hilarious infomercial, calling it the "uselessly useful" utensil that ensures no ingredient is left behind.

The Frork was created to accompany McDonald's new Signature Crafted Recipe Sandwiches [1] and scoop every last bite of the Pico Guacamole, Sweet BBQ Bacon, and Maple Bacon Dijon sandwiches. "When savoring these recipes, there's a hitch you just can't ditch: the topping dropping," Anthony Sullivan says in the video, with his usual convincing nature. "This is a real problem. Wait, sorry, is this a real problem? Probably not, but good news: we solved it anyway."

We are so in. The Frork is available in participating locations on May 5, for one day only, and will come with your purchase of any Signature Crafted Recipe sandwich, while supplies last. Because this wouldn't be an infomercial without a toll-free number, call 1-844-McD-FRORK to find out where to get your Frork (or you could just go to McDonalds.com [3]). Happy Frorking!
