First Course Anna Marie Louisiana prawns with peas, celery root, carrots with a beurre blanc paired with Le Merle from North Coast Brewery. The shrimp were perfect and this was my favorite beer of the evening. Second Course Organic onion soup with house smoked sturgeon crostini paired with pale ale from Chau Tien. The delicious smoked sturgeon was subtle in flavor and not overly smoked, which I must admit is not one of my favorite flavors. Third Course Cane-smoked Chalmette sausage with caraway spaetzle and Swiss chard paired with Gonzo Imperial Porter from Flying Dog Brewery. The beer was big and so was the sausage! Fourth Course Cheesecake with salted caramel paired with Russian Imperial Stout and Framboise Lambic. The contrast of the cheesecake with the sweet beer and very bitter beer was the perfect way to end the evening. Of course, after all of the other plates, I couldn't dare to finish this course!
