The event was incredibly informative and from now on, I'm going to try and purchase fair trade products when I can. Here are a bunch of pamphlets. A poster of the goji liqueur, isn't it a beautiful red color? The party was hosted at a recently opened hotspot, The Burritt Room. Three cocktails, one that featured each of the different spirits, were served at the party. Guests were invited to try them all. This potent drink is called "cartoons can be midgets." It's got a complex list of ingredients: vodka, cynar, chiptle tincture, peach bitters, chartreuse, and orange peel. The "goji fizz" consists of vodka, goji liqueur, grapefruit, lemon, and egg white for froth. My favorite drink was the "fair flip"; a mixture of vodka, coffee liqueur, sherry, lemon, old fashioned bitters, and egg. It was wonderfully balanced. A shot of the trio of drinks. These goji wings were to die for. They were like buffalo wings, but the sauce was made with the goji liqueur. They were sweet, spicy, messy, and totally addictive. My dear friend Danny Ronen is a representative of the brand. He invited me to the party. After trying the cocktails, we got to watch a presentation about the brand. I love the way the chandeliers look in this photo! The vodka is made from quinoa. A picture of one of the farmers.
