Pipette Glass Dispenser: Love It Or Hate It?

These Menu Pipette Glasses dispense just the precise amount of liquid - be it oil, vinegar, syrup or more. They work like regular droppers and are available in two sizes 150ml and 300ml. I love that you'll get exactly how much you want, but wonder how long it might take for your salad to get just the right amount of dressing. What do you guys think? Love them or hate them? If you love them, a set of two is available for $30.18.

They're very cool looking, but off-hand I can't think of any liquid ingredients I'd need to use an eyedropper for...

susanec: I was thinking the same thing! That they belong in a lab more than a kitchen.

I was a science major, they're just a little too clinical for my liking.

How about just using your measuring cups? 2/3 cup is about 160ml. It's cheaper, and I imagine it's easier to clean a measuring cup thoroughly than it is to clean oil out of these droppers.

I have these and use them every day - they aren't eye droppers; more like mini turkey basters. I always get the exact right amount of oil and vinegar, and there are no more "oops!" moments where you end up with a puddle of either. I love putting my good quality balsamic in it because it ensures there is no waste!

I wouldn't have the patience to eyedrop syrup onto my pancakes.
