Ok, two things:1. There's a decades-long dispute about who "invented" pisco, between Peru and Chile. Peruvians say it's theirs, Chileans say their is better. Just, FYI.2. You're not really supposed to drink Pisco straight up. We Chileans drink it with Coke, Piscola, which is one of the most popular drinks in the country. The other popular one is Pisco Sour, which is pisco with lemon juice and a bit of sugar. Piscola is more popular amongst men, while Pisco Sour is more of a lady drink. One brand of pisco makers has released new drinks: mango sour (pisco and mango) and berry sour (strawberry juice and pisco).

I have two bottles of Pico at home....I really like it is pretty good with cranberry juice or coke as the Chileans drink it. I also use it as the white wine on sauces and it works almost the same although this one is stronger so you can't put the same qty.
