Burger King [2] announced it would serve hot dogs [3] earlier this year and, naturally, people were elated. The menu includes three different options: a Whopper dog, a Classic Grilled dog, and a Chili Cheese Grilled dog, all made from beef. However, customers have taken to social media to post pictures of the fast food chain's recent foray and let's just stay they should stick to their expertise.
Of course, food in advertisements always appears better than in actuality, but Burger King's grilled dogs are so far from what is promised that they can barely be called hot dogs. Below are a few examples of the wide differences between expectation and reality when ordering a Burger King hot dog.
