Rib-Eye Steaks For a First Date



  1. 2 rib-eye steaks
    2 tbsp. olive oil
    2 tbsp. butter
    Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Heat up a cast-iron skillet until it just starts to smoke and then turn down to medium heat.
  2. Rub steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place steak on a hot skillet and sear for 3-5 minutes or until a nice crust has formed.
  4. Flip steak and cook until desired doneness.
  5. Finish with butter.
