New season, new Starbucks [1] drinks! When Starbucks announced a list of its new drinks for Spring [2], the one that stood out the most was the caramelized honey latte. It's described as "slow-cooked caramel honey sauce mixed with espresso and topped with steamed milk," and you can also get it iced, which is a plus for our warm-weather coffee needs. So how does it actually taste?

POPSUGAR editors put both versions of the drink to the test, and most of us liked it, but we all agreed one thing was missing — the taste of honey. The caramel flavor is really strong, though, and it almost just tastes like caramel coffee (not that that's a bad thing). The hot latte has a comforting, sweet smell to it, and the iced is refreshing; we were pleasantly surprised that this drink isn't overly sweet.
