"Alongside my delicious lunch at Chez Panisse, I enjoyed this delectable Sauvignon Blanc from Merry Edwards Winery in the Russian River Valley. This a rich sauvignon blanc since it is aged in French oak barrels for six months but not overpowered with oak as hints of melon and peach still emerge. This wine complemented each one of the dishes and was simply amazing with the slightly spicy slaw that was served alongside the fried chicken.
