Asian families (more like clans) like to get together just for the fun of it, so I have cooked for 50+ several times.

well i have a huge italian family so on most holidays (esp. the big ones like thanksgiving/christmas) we have over 30 (usualy 40 or more) ppl.... its not a big deal (just pounds and pounds of pasta and sauce--you get used to it if you grew up with it) on thanksgiving we always have two turkeys...and we ALWAYS have a ton of left overs (last year a friend said their family never makes enough to have seconds/left overs--I had never heard of this!! we make enough for an army!!!)

About 75. My parents' friends had hired me to cater for one of their parties. It took me two days of non-stop cooking.

About 15-20 people for my mom and dad's surprise 50th birthday party. It was a pretty good-sized crowd, but I can't imagine cooking for more than about 30 people.
