Chick-fil-A Is Launching Meal Kits, Complete With Easy Chicken Recipes to Make at Home!

Jul 28 2018 - 9:40am

Chick-fil-A has introduced new Mealtime Kits [1] launching soon, which will allow customers to create the flavors of Chick-fil-A at home. The meal kits work just like the ones you're familiar with, like Hellofresh and Blue Apron. They'll come with pre-measured ingredients and printed recipes that you can cook for dinner in your own kitchen. Each meal kit serves two people and costs $15.89.

So, how do you get your hands on one? Instead of ordering the kits online and getting them delivered, you can buy them starting on Aug. 27 at participating Chick-fil-A locations, which are currently 150 restaurants in the Atlanta area. If you don't live in that area, not to worry: Chick-fil-A is already searching for its next location and wants to hear from you if you're interested [2]. "Customer feedback on the test will help the restaurant company decide whether to roll out the concept nationwide," a statement explained.

This is a totally new concept for Chick-fil-A, and the brand is excited about the launch and has some seriously tasty meals ready to go. So far, there are five meal-kit recipes: Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Enchiladas, Crispy Dijon Chicken, Pan Roasted Chicken, and Chicken Flatbread. No chicken nuggets and waffle fries, but that's what a drive-through stop is for.

The five meals won't be available at the same time, but rather on a seasonal basis, ranging from Aug. 27 through Nov. 17. Get a look at each meal and its availability ahead, and prepare to get a craving for Chick-fil-A (what's new?).

Chick-fil-A's Chicken Parmesan

The Chick-fil-A Chicken Parmesan Mealtime Kit [4] comes with a creamy garlic and lemon pasta and vegetables. Before the chicken is pressed into a mixture of parmesan cheese and crunchy panko breadcrumbs, it's coated in Greek yogurt.

This meal kit is available from Aug. 27 through Sept. 22.

Chick-fil-A's Chicken Enchiladas

Also in the lineup of Chick-fil-A's Mealtime Kits are chicken enchiladas [5]. The kit comes with tortillas (each an even mix of corn and tortilla), chicken, onions, peppers, beans seasoned with "Mexican flavors," cheese, and Chick-fil-A Creamy Salsa dressing.

This meal kit is available from Sept. 24 through Oct. 20.

Chick-fil-A's Chicken Flatbread

The Chicken Flatbread Mealtime Kit [6] is topped with a true Southern staple: pimento cheese. The shredded pimento cheese blend joins bacon crumbles, sliced chicken, spicy pepper relish, and Chick-fil-A Ranch Dressing on top of a thin flatbread.

This meal kit is available from Sept. 24 through Oct. 20.

Chick-fil-A's Pan Roasted Chicken

A lighter option is Chick-fil-A's Pan Roasted Chicken Mealtime Kit [7]. The gluten- and dairy-free meal comes with potatoes and a kale and broccolini salad with nuts and cherries.

This meal kit is available from Sept. 24 through Oct. 20.

Chick-fil-A's Crispy Dijon Chicken

Who wouldn't want homemade comfort food for dinner during the week? Chick-fil-A's Crispy Dijon Chicken Mealtime Kit [8] might be the most enticing. The crispy chicken breast is accompanied by a side of smoked gouda mac and cheese and sautéed green beans.

This meal kit is available from Oct. 22 through Nov. 17.
