I am definitely a HUGE fan of Muenster or Mozzarella. Can't stand American cheese though -- blech!

I don't usually eat grilled cheese, but when I make them for my husband it's always Swiss and onions. Usually, I go with a nice Emmenthaller, but sometimes I like baby Swiss too.

Kraft Singles lol. That is the only way I'll eat American cheese though so I've really got to try it with something yummier.

I love all cheeses and a lot of them make great grilled cheese, but I for that really gooey cheesy melty cheese sandwich good old Velveeta is great.

White Cheddar. Cheese really shouldn't be fluorescent orange.

Swiss. It's the only time I like swiss chesse. I sometimes use american cheese. I always add a slice or two of tomato onto the sandwich.

i use american cheese, but not kraft. publix all the way, hah! (at home, it's boar's head.) but if i want a FANCY grilled cheese, i usually go with provolone since that's what i've got in the fridge. with some tomatos and a little garlic? mmmm.

meunster would be good, too. I'll try that. ALSW--feta by itself? I would be good with baby spinach, I bet.

Not to creative here - regular old Kraft Singles with a thin slice of ham. The way my mom used to make it for me. When I used to care for my nephews and my disabled brother-in-law would make them deluxe grilled cheese using good swiss with a slice of country ham or for my little nephew (the cheese-meister) loads of cheddar a bit a garlic and some dijon mustard. I always thought he was such a gourmand for a 4 year old. What 4 year old asks for garlic and dijon mustard on their grilled cheese? One that watches too many cooking shows on PBS with his aunt that's who.
