I always make Birthdays very special. We don't buy toys or stuff like that though out the year so we make Birthdays and Christmas extra special.

I keep them small, she has 16 cousins on her dad's side so she gets the mondo kid party with them. My daughter, brother, dad and grandma all have birthdays mid August so we throw a small more grown-up family party.
