What Are You Making For Valentine's Day?

Let's Dish: What Are You Making For Valentine's Day?

Happy Valentine's Day! Hopefully by now, you've browsed all the chocolate and aphrodisiac recipes and have decided on a special menu to enjoy with loved ones.

Since it's just me and I try to practice meatless Mondays, I'm making grilled cheese sandwiches. Not just any grilled cheese, but one with caramelized pears and onions and three different kinds of cheese — yum! For dessert, I made chocolate diablo cake. I'll pair both with sparkling Rosé.

How about you? How are you celebrating Valentine's Day? What are you making?

We're ordering in tonight, but I made madeleines for a sweet treat for later. They came out very well. I've got the recipe and pictures of the outcome on my blog,

No special someone in my life right now, so I'm making one of my favorite dinners! Chile colorado tacos (or maybe tostadas) with fresh guacamole! I made the beef last night so all I have to do is heat it up and make the guac tonight....gonna be amazing!

We're going to start the night off with some sparkling rosé brut. Then I'm going to try out these salmon tacos! It'll be a pink night!

I'm out of town, so the sweetie will be taking a raincheck. Tonight, I'm hoping to have some of Houston's best dumplings. After all, they're good luck!
