What's Your Favorite Thing to Eat For Breakfast?

Let's Dish: What's Your Favorite Thing to Eat For Breakfast?

It could be because it's National All-American Breakfast month, but lately I've been really into making breakfast. There are so many different things one can enjoy first thing in the morning: eggs, bacon, pancakes, toast, fruit, etc. The possibilities are seriously endless! While I love a good fried egg and bacon sandwich, my all-time favorite breakfast dish is eggs Benedict. The combination of crispy English muffin, oozing egg, and luscious hollandaise is absolute perfection.

Since today is the last day in September, now is the time to celebrate breakfast; so tell me, what is your favorite breakfast dish?

If you are someone with Crohn's disease or colitis you will know why I have chosen the following for my favorite breakfast. I drink immune bio best any flavor a peeled apple(as we cannot ) eat the skin or a banana sliced on top of shreddies with lactose free milk. For those sufferers we know even though we may not be lactose intolerant milk and cheese are some of the hardest things to digest.

Oh God, I love breakfast. Or breakfast foods, I should say. Cause during the week, breakfast is a rushed affair. But on the weekends? Strong, sweet tea. Scrambled eggs (made with a little bit of milk and a sprinkling of pecorino ramono cheese). Toast or a buttered english muffin. Home fries. I'm not one for sweet breakfast foods, savory all the way

I'm surprised that oatmeal has made the "favorite" breakfast list - but what do I know? My favorite right now is biscuits n' gravy and a cup of Stumptown french pressed coffee.

Fast breakfast - fried egg, with a not too runny yolk and buttered then toasted french bread. Weekend breakfast - home fries (potatoes, onions, olive oil and paprika), scrambled eggs (with a dash of milk), homemade buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, bananas and dark chocolate chips - I call them "pancake Sundays."
