Which Candy Would You Have Chosen?

In case you haven't heard, we have a bit of a candy problem here at the Sugar HQ. Yesterday Brian walked in with a bajillion pound box of candy and, with wide eyed enthusiasm, displayed his new finds on the kitchen table. I'm not one to turn down candy, but even I was a little overwhelmed. In the end I chose something called "Kits" (a taffy like candy) and a Blow Pop for later. How about you, what would you have chosen?

That was hard! Haha. I'm surprised that a lot of people chose the coke bottles like I did. Now I'm craving for some.

Well, I chose the licorice wheels but then read where Yum said they were hard. I like my licorice soft & chewy.

I can't stand Peeps! I used to get Candy Cigs whenever I'd go to Idyllwild (small mountain town in CA) as a child, so I have a soft spot for those :-)

Peeps! But only after they get stale (I know, I know, but they're soooo good that way!)

Mmmm, Candy Buttons for sure! However, Candy Cigarettes would have been a close second...mmm, pure sugar!

omg! I haven't seen candy cigarettes sine I was a kid. When I think back, I'm astonished they sold such things to kids... but again, you could get cigarettes from vending machines.

i am quite greedy when it comes to candy - i'd have chosen one of each when no one was looking. :) does brian or others do this sort of thing often for the rest of the group? thats so sweet! :) sounds like a fun place to work!

OMG COLA BOTTLES FTW!!! I have a serious haribo addiction. I bought one 5 pound bag of each of the available haribo varieties off of around christmas time. My husband and I ended up having a haribo party, just to get rid of them, not because we didn't want them, but because we knew how huge we'd get if we didn't get rid of them! haha..

licorice wheels are super thin licorice ropes rolled up into wheels. personally i found them to be way too hard. they hurt my teeth... and yet i ate more than one anyway!

i voted none...i only like chocolate stuff. my guy keeps a huge stash of candy in the house-sweet tarts, skittles, jolly ranchers, gummy worms, etc. he has self control, so it actually lasts forever (especially since i don't eat any of it.) but if i know there's anything chocolate in the house, it won't last a week. i've even had him put my chocolate treats on the top shelf so i can't reach it...and i've climbed the counters for it.

They still make candy cigarettes?? Wow. I remember those when I was little. I think they banned them in the late 80's. I think those for old time sake and the licorice wheels.

Eeeeeew! This is the kind of second-tier candy that you find in your grandma's purse, in low-budget church picnic pinatas, and that house down the street that none of the kids in the neighborhood likes to trick or treat at on Halloween because they give out weird candy.
