It depends on the turkey. My mom always cooks hers in a bag, so all the meat is generally pretty moist, but for the most part, I find white meat too dry...it feels all pasty and stringy in my mouth, so I opt for dark.

White meat is too dry but the dark meat doesnt do it for me either I just really dont care for turkey

Dark, but from the thigh only. Drumstick meat gets too dried out. And I like light meat when it's cooked right (I do it well, one of my classmates does it well). It's just so rarely cooked right...
