YumSugar Best of 2009: Food Magazine

The Year's Best Food Magazine

When we kicked off our Best of 2009 coverage, we wanted to know which glossy was your go-to food magazine for recipes, tips, and entertaining ideas. The results were shocking: an overwhelming 65 percent of you chose Every Day With Rachael Ray, blowing the runnerup, Food Network Magazine, which got 8 percent of the vote, out of the water. We agree: Every Day With Rachael Ray is our pick, too. We love its energetic layout, helpful suggestions, and fun travel pointers — all of which we can imagine Rachael Ray chirping about in person. Most of all, we love its practical yet creative recipes, from electric pink beet rigatoni to Thanksgiving turkey.

What do you love about Every Day With Rachael Ray?

I don't subscribe to RR, but I've read a few issues. It's pretty decent, but I really must say that I think FN magazine is a little more diverse.

I agree - it's a great magazine. I don't subscribe cause USPS totally destroys it.

It really is the best mag out there! So many great tips and recipes, even shopping, I love it

You're missing out! You can't hear her voice in print. :P

Seriously? I've never actually read it beyond glancing at the cover on newstands, but I can't stand Rachel Ray. I'd never subscribe to anything with her name on it.
