Love this gift list! I'm already planning to make the pepper vodka this summer when my garden kicks in. :) Definitely not something my family would make for themselves but would be much enjoyed. :)

I've made sweet potato biscuits for gifts that went over very well. This year I'm making spice mixes to give out. I just can't justify stuffing other people's arteries when they haven't asked for it.

Family and friends who request it. Its a lot of work honestly so I like to know that they will get eaten and appreciated.
I'm always iffy about other people's food. Everyone that knows me knows that I randomly make some awesome goodies.

I only give homebaked goodies to family members...or those that ask for them. ( "Hey when are you going to bake me some cookies", etc) It's probably a good idea not to eat just anybody's goodies!!

All these sweets... I kind of agree with emalove. I was an elementary school teacher and I kind of got the willies eating anything my students made because I KNOW where those fingers have been. I know... sad. I appreciated the thought 100%!!! Good idea: One parent gave me brownie mix in a festive jar that I could bake at home. Just add milk and eggs. It was perfect!!
I made so many goodies this week! Chocolate truffles, peanut brittle, gingerbread caramels, fudge! Sending it all off tomorrow!

Awww, pinwheel cookies. I actually just leaked a tear when I saw them... my grandmother ALWAYS made them every time we came to visit. I keep saying that I'm going to make them because they're so good, but then I get too sad to follow through.

I'm kind of weird about homemade foods...if I don't know the person who's giving it to me really well, I probably won't eat it. I'm a middle school teacher and I ALWAYS get homemade treats from my students at Christmas. I never eat them. I appreciate the thought of course, but I don't know...I just can't do it. I know this is weird!
