Dunkin' Donuts [2] is here to make your week sweeter with its new DD Perks freebie. The fan favorite coffee chain is helping doughnut-lovers [3] get through the week by offering members one free classic doughnut with the purchase of a drink every Wednesday until April 21. With flavors like strawberry, Boston Kreme, and double chocolate, Wednesdays are about to become the new Wednes-YAYs.
"We know people are craving some fun and excitement [4] to break up the week," Joanna Bonder, director of loyalty marking and strategy at Dunkin', said in a statement. "With Free Donut Wednesdays, we're excited to give our DD Perks members a free sweet treat to help beat the midweek slump [5] and keep them running with a smile."
With the Perks system, members get five points for every dollar they spend and when they hit 200 points, they can get a free beverage of any size [6]. Pair a free coffee with a free doughnut, and the week will be extra sweet. If you're a DD Perks member, be sure to head to Dunkin' every Wednesday until the 21 to claim your free treat.
