The Internet's Most Popular Pan: Our Place Always Pan

"After just one use, I knew the Our Place Always Pan [8] ($145) was worth it. The multifunctional pan is worth the hype for a reason. The nontoxic and nonstick pan features a smart design that is well thought out and covers all your bases. The deep bottom makes it perfect for cooking food like rice, burgers, eggs, stews, and, well . . . anything. It comes with a spatula and a dedicated place to rest it. Included in the price, it also comes with a stainless-steel steamer, which is perfect for broccoli, dumplings, and more. I use it every day and couldn't be happier with its easy and useful design." — Krista Jones, editor, Commerce

For the Matcha Drinker: Cuzen Matcha Maker

I used to treat myself to a matcha most mornings, but since the pandemic, I've been making my special drink (a cross between a latte and an Americano) every morning. It's thoroughly enjoyable to drink, but the whisking of the matcha is a process. Enter the Cuzen Matcha Maker [10] ($369). It was named one of the best inventions of 2020 by Time Magazine, and I got to see if it lives up to the hype."

The machine comes with matcha leaves, and it grinds them up into a powder, which is then whisked with water to create a shot of matcha. You can pour this shot into whatever drink you like, whether that's an Americano, latte, or even a lemonade. You can also choose your desired strength, creating your dream matcha. I'm a seasoned matcha drinker, so I always go with the strongest option." — India Yaffe, assitant editor, Commerce

A Delicious Hot Sauce: Truffle-Infused Hot Sauce Variety Pack

"When I discovered the Truffle-Infused Hot Sauce Variety Pack [12] ($72), we embarked on a whole new kind of culinary adventure. The brand sources fresh and healthy ingredients, combining them into a variety of flavors you've probably never tried before. There are three levels of heat in the variety pack: mild, mild white truffle, and hot. Each bottle is unique in composition, but they're all combinations of truffles, red chilies, and sweet nectar. You get a unique sauce with a thick texture and a tangy finish. After a few days of experimentation, I happily concluded that my favorite in the trio is the hot sauce. I've spread it over scrambled eggs and burritos, and I can't tell you how much of a difference it made." — Shelcy Joseph, associate editor, Commerce

The Perfect Cookware Set: Caraway Cookware Set

"I am not exaggerating when I tell you that the Caraway Cookware Set [14] ($495, originally $595) has totally changed my daily routine for the better. I have been cooking meals with it every day. The first thing I made was a fried egg, and I couldn't believe how easily it slid right off the pan. I have used this cookware for over a month now, and I haven't had to scrape a single item off its surface. No sticking means something even more important: easy cleaning. I don't have to spend ages standing over my sink, trying to get surfaces clean. Rinsing this set is a breeze. Nothing is ever piled up in the sink anymore, because I don't feel like I have a challenge I'm avoiding. I'm telling you, Caraway's products are absolutely worth the investment." — Macy Cate Williams, senior editor, commerce

A Coaktail-Lovers Dream: Bartesian Premium Cocktail Maker

"Let me tell you, this Bartesian Premium Cocktail and Margarita Machine [16] ($350) is one of the coolest gadgets I've ever tried. The Bartesian is very user-friendly and has a simple setup. Create some counter space and place the machine in its designated spot near an outlet. Fill the five spirit containers according to the labels with the spirit brand of your choice. Since there are only four spots, the machine will let you swap out the gin and rum containers. In fact, it reminds you to swap out the gin and the rum containers when making cocktails that require those bases. Once you rinse out and fill the back container with water, your Bartesian is ready. It takes longer to decide your craft cocktail of choice than for the machine to create it." — Anvita Reddy, editorial coordinator, Commerce

A Smart Countertop Oven: Brava Oven

"I invested in a few new things for my kitchen recently and the Brava Oven [20] ($1,295-$1,695) is one of my favorites. You might have seen this cool oven on your Instagram feed, but it's so much more than just a place to whip up quick recipes. It ended up being the solution I was looking for."

I" have to admit, I'm a total minimalist when it comes to home decor, kitchen products, and just about anything. I never like having anything "extra" or appliances on my countertops, but this is a must have in my book. The price tag might be high, but what you get in return is priceless: extra time and motivation. Instead of feeling intimidated by making new recipes, it suddenly seems quick and easy. Plus, there's a simplicity to the process that just makes my day smoother. Since I've had mine, I haven't turned on my oven or microwave once." — KJ

A Pretty and Practical Knife and Cutting Board: Our Place Fully Prepped Bundle

"The Our Place Fully Prepped Bundle [22] ($230, originally $265) consists of a set of three knives: an everyday chef's knife, a serrated slicing knife, and a paring knife. Made from premium German steel, these cut precisely and are made to last. My favorite thing about them is the soft grip with special grooves that feel comfortable and almost show you exactly how to hold the knives.

"Next up, the walnut cutting board. You may think a cutting board is a cutting board, but this is the one you'll want, trust me. The design is well thought out, and so much more than that. The built-in juice trench on one side makes it easy to catch and drain liquids. It features a side that's completely flat, so it can even double as a serving tray, too. I can tell you from my own experience, these are something I'd buy again, but I likely won't have to since the quality is grade A and long-lasting." — KJ

A Chef's Knife: Hast Kitchen Utility Knife

"Made from matrix powder steel, this lightweight Hast Kitchen Utility Knife [24] ($89) is perfect for everything. The Japanese-style blade is sharp and easy to maneuver, and it has a sleek silhouette. I have it in gold, which is fun, but it also comes in a few other finishes. Hands down, though, the lightweight design is what really sold me. It feels durable and sharp, yet it has this weightless quality that truly makes me feel like I'm using something much more expensive." — KJ

"Though I'd heard the hype, I had some doubts about paying a premium for trendy kitchenwares. But because I'm a sucker for vibrant colors (. . . and compelling branding, let's be real), I sprang for theGreat Jones Holy Sheet [27] ($40) in the Blueberry colorway when Great Jones dropped a bakeware line in late 2020. Reader, I'm pleased to report that it quickly became one of my favorite and most-used household items within days." — Lisa Peterson, direct of social media

A Good Meal Subscription Service: Freshly Meals

"I decided to try a meal-subscription service. There are tons of options online, but I went with Freshly [31] (plans range from $8-$13 per meal). This one appealed to me because the meals can be made in the microwave or oven and don't include much prepping. Before you think, "Oh, this is a microwaveable meal," because honestly, that's what I thought at first, give it a chance. It ended up being so great for me, because I prefer to eat my largest meal in the middle of the day for lunch. Since I work full-time, it's almost impossible to prep a large meal while I'm also working. These dishes made it easy for me to have a great lunch without spending a ton of time in the kitchen." — KJ

A Luxury Coffee Machine: JURA ENA 8 Espresso Machine

"I've tried a dozen different machines before giving JURA ENA 8 Espresso Machine [33] ($2,000) a permanent home on my kitchen counter. Let's start by addressing the elephant in the room: at a cool $1,899, this coffee maker is very, very expensive, but hear me out. I was going to my local coffee shop, on average, five days a week for either a cappuccino, seasonal latte, or whatever sugary specialty drink was calling my name. At $4 a cup, I was spending $20 a week. That's $1,040 a year IF I only ordered one cup a day."

"No matter what you crave in the mornings, this machine gives you 10 different drink options from regular coffee or espresso to cappuccinos or latte macchiatos. And if you have kids, you can even add a little frothed milk to their hot cocoa for an extra special treat, and all at the push of a button. Sound simple? It couldn't be more so. Once you set up your machine, choose your favorite whole bean or ground coffee. . . So whether you're you're looking to step up your barista skills or just make your mornings easier, then go ahead and order the ENA 8. It's a splurge, but it's one that you definitely won't regret." — Marisa Hillman, contributor

I would have been happy with the three mezcal bottles, but it also comes with glasses, snacks, and a gorgeous agate serving platter, among other cool products. I think it's worth every penny because all the work of putting together a gift has been done. Every little thoughtful detail has been included and nothing skimps out on quality. Did I mention that the mezcal was delicious? Because it was. I would definitely recommend this box to my friends. It's really cool."

A Cute and Useful Dutch Oven: Great Jones The Dutchess

"I tried the Great Jones The Dutchess [37] ($145), and couldn't have been more thrilled to test the Instgram-famous tool. The design is meant to retain heat well, so you can also place it on your table for serving once you're ready to eat. I decided to roast a chicken, and it was the easiest process ever. I filled the pot with a whole chicken, lemon, rosemary, spices, and white wine — the deep design allows everything to cook without spewing out everywhere. Once it was ready to go, it honestly looked like the prettiest thing I ever cooked while sitting inside the Dutchess. It was easy to lift, even with my hands in oven mitts. My friends served themselves straight from the pot. Now what really impressed me is how easy it is to clean. I didn't have to spend ages scrubbing it down — even the tricky bits that cooked onto the pot slid right off with some dish soap and hot water." — MCW

A Restaurant-Quality Pizza Stone: Pizzacraft Round ThermaBond Stone

"I found this Pizzacraft Round ThermaBond Pizza Stone [39] ($61) on Amazon, and let me tell you: it delivers some fine margherita pies. It comes in two other shapes (square and rectangular) because options are good to have. We throw it in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes, then reheat the pies one pair at at a time for two minutes each. I don't know how my husband arrived at this science, but it's the optimal time for the stone to warm up and the pizza to become crispy with a golden-brown crust."

"That's about all it takes to have some restaurant-quality pizza in the comfort of your home. You don't need any cooking skills to use a stone, just an empty stomach and adventurous taste buds. Set your timer at each step and come back when it's done." — SJ

A Non-Stick Cutting Board: Epicurean All-In-One Cutting Board

"I finally found the cutting board that checks all of my novice chef boxes — enter the Epicurean All-In-One Cutting Board with Non-Slip Feet and Juice Groove [41] ($30). It is made of a durable wood composite that is still friendly to all of your knives (so you don't have to constantly resharpen your blades) and is heat resistant to 350°F, so it can be used in place of a trivet on stone counters. I have had problems occasionally where the board will slightly warp in the dishwasher; so far I have corrected that each time by wetting it and letting it dry standing up. I have two of these cutting boards for several months, and they have been my go-to." — Lauren Hendrickson, Head of Commerce and Affiliate Growth

For Fresh Produce: Farmbox Direct

"After getting into food subscription boxes, I wanted one for produce. I settled on Farmbox Direct [43] ($41-$79, depending on location). The brand offers fresh, organic products delivered in an eco-friendly box right to your doorstep. The idea sounded great, but when it was delivered to my door, and I loved it. I suddenly found that having this much produce in my house made everything easier. For every meal, I was able to incorporate a fruit or vegetable, and I ate healthier than I had in a long time. Overall, I was really pleased with the experience. My favorite thing about the box was that I tried things I normally wouldn't have. I rarely bought peppers, purple carrots, or pears, but having them made several meals better. It made me realize that when I do go to the grocery store, I should expand my produce shopping." — KJ
