In perhaps the most unexpected move of 2020 thus far, Crocs has teamed up with Peeps to design a limited-edition collection of foamy clog shoes [1] — and no, this isn't an early April Fools' joke. Released ahead of Easter, the Peeps x Crocs collaboration [2] boasts the brand's Classic Clogs in one of three bright, can't-miss colors — yellow, pink, or blue — and decorated with large (though notably inedible) chick-shaped charms that plug into the holes of the shoes. Oh, and they're also coated with a "sugar-like texture reminiscent of the marshmallow candy," according to the press release. So there's that!
Who on earth would sport this absurd footwear, you ask? Well, I hate to break it to you, dear reader, but in this age of "doing it for the 'gram" and dressing ironically, I can totally see these marshmallow-themed shoes selling out.
