hboogie - regular coffee grounds won't dissolve and you may have a gritty taste in your cake. i used actual espresso and it wasn't strong enough, so then i used some instant espresso and found that it was still a bit lacking.

Could you use regular coffee grounds instead? I hate instant coffee and would hate to have to buy a whole jar of it.
