It looks delicious, but my idea of a "quick" breakfast is a packet of instant oatmeal, LOL, 60 seconds and done. I think this would be perfect for a weekend brunch though.

I think that everyone in Minneapolis was at Super Target in the last few days refreshing their ramekin supplies for this recipe! I had to settle for glass custard cups as they were all sold out! 'Bout to get my breakfast on! Thanks again, Yum! :)

I'm not a ham person but I really liked party's idea of trying it in a bread bowl or a little bicuit might be great.

I used a muffin tin, and made these this morning - they were really good! I'm going to try some variations too next time, instead of tomatoes maybe some spinach, yum!

Yum, Just made the dish very simply with the ham, milk, egg, freshly ground pepper and butter instead of olive oil. It was WUNNERFUL! Since I used butter, I lowered the temp to 325 took about 25-30 minutes for a semi-firm yolk. About the perfect amount of time for me to get in and out of the shower and get the hairs did for the day. This recipe is like a canvas. Very inspiring! Many thanks!

Wow, that looks DELICIOUS! Great experiment and it turned out looking great too. I love making dishes where the recipe isn't that complicated or time-consuming. Thank you for the recipe Yum. For sure I'll be making this dish quite often before I go to school in the morning ;).

I just made one. It was terrific! I did it super simple and just did the ham, egg, salt & pepper. This will definitely be made again and again. I love every one's variations too!

What's to do is to make some crostinis to go on the bottom of the ham "cup". Cuta circle out of some wholeseed bread teh same size as the muffin dish, spray lightly with olive oil and then saute them gently in a frypan, until they look like a crouton, kinda toasted. Pop that at the bottom of the ham cup (I like to use procuitto) and then add cheese, sauted peppers, beaten egg, know of butter and seasoning and then cook slowly. They're a great idea for a quick breakfast and for when you have guests for brunch - have some salad or fresh fruit on the side. Yum.
