They've developed quite the reputation for being a lifesaver for people who don't have the time or energy to assemble a gingerbread house from scratch [2] (decorating is the best part, anyway!). The kits have been around for a few years now, but we get excited for them every year. They also cost just $10, which makes the entire deal pretty freakin' sweet (pun intended), and come with assorted candy [3] and icing for decorating.
