1970s-Inspired Decor

Roundup: Groovy 1970s-Inspired Decor

Whether it's shag carpet, burnt orange and avocado, or hanging chairs, a 70s revival may be creeping into your home! Thanks to Hollywood — movies like The Runaways, Milk, and The Box — plus some stylish hotels, I find the style growing on me.

I also like the history that comes with adding some vintage pieces and patterns in the home — who doesn't have memories of their parents' or grandparents' yellow kitchen counters or green shaggy carpets? I will say that '70s flair in small portions is how I'd do it, maybe a funky chair and a small rug for my living room, to start. What do you think?
