Ariel Winter [1], better known as brainiac Alex Dunphy from the sitcom Modern Family, just purchased a $1.575 million home in Sherman Oaks, CA. The 18-year-old [2] seems to have been inspired by her acting gig, as the home is undeniably modern.

Its spacious 3,200-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath new construction features soaring ceilings, sunny, skylight-lit rooms, and hardwood floors throughout. A gourmet kitchen is outfitted with Viking appliances, a wet bar, and quartz countertops that play beautifully off the dark wood cabinets. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and even its own fireplace. When the weather is nice outside, Ariel and her friends can escape to the expansive back patio through sliding glass doors to enjoy a fire pit, grassy area, and built-in BBQ. Ironically, since Ariel isn't old enough to drink, our favorite amenity is the floor-to-ceiling glass wine cellar next to a chic lounging area.
