Fashion designer Betsey Johnson is known for her wild and playful designs on the runway, but at home it turns out she's a tad more tame. She recently listed her New York City condo for just under $1.8 million [1] (about $55,000 less than what she paid for it [2] back in 2008), and it's more understated than we were expecting. The 850-square-foot one-bedroom space features white walls, curtains, and furniture against dark hardwood floors with pops of vibrant fuchsia accents. Funky midcentury modern furniture and a sputnik lighting pendant add the signature character Betsey is known for. Light streams in from the many windows and onto the 300-square-foot terrace. Betsey's condo is located in a swanky building in the Upper East Side neighborhood.
