Casa Quickie: Making Laundry Time Happy Time

To make laundry time fly by, download podcasts and listen to some great comedy or talk radio to help pass the time. Not only will it speed up your chore time, but it will also help you to catch up on current events. My favorite pass-the-time podcast is Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. Do you have a favorite podcast or radio program that helps lighten up your laundry time?

my favorite podcast is "the sound of young america" at it's a great look into the minds of some of the country's best comedians.

If I am not doing homework, I listen to Car Talk, That's What She Said, The Lost Podcast with Jay and Jack, or the Answer Bitch most of the time

I'm addicted to This American Life, too. I also download audio books and listen to those while I do laundry and vacuum and all those other household things that seem so tedious.

i do this!! :) i listen to CBC radio 2 which is mostly classical music (not a podcast, but there's always something good on!), CBC radio 3 podcast which is new indie music from Canada, the PopCandy podcast is great but only 25 minutes long, NPR's all Songs considered is amusing...and also CBC's DNTO (definitely not the opera). those are all my favorites generally! thanks for the tip about the wai wait don't tell me - i'm going to listen to it now!

I like Brain Food, its answers to questions about the world, technology etc. with none of the fluff and "big words". It's awesome.

Haha well I'm spoiled and have a washer/dryer all in one and it switches over automatically. So all I gotta do is put in laundry detergent, fabric softener, push a few buttons and it's ready to do it all by itself!
